Parents Need Tools This Week, Not Just a Bill Later

Parents for Stronger Vaping Restrictions says families should get practical prevention resources while the committee calendar is quiet.

The committee is quiet

the Economic Future committee page lists no scheduled meetings as of its October 9 update. Parents should still have clear resources for conversations at home and expectations at school.

What parents can use now

the AHS Teachers Vaping Toolkit points educators to grade-specific vaping-prevention resources, while the AHS CANVAS package includes parent-presentation and staff-presentation material. Those are practical tools before any Bill 208 decision.

Parent ask

Publish a plain-language Bill 208 status note and a prevention-resource checklist for families before the next committee meeting.
